It is a shame that some jerks got nothing better to do. They could take the knowledge they used for the hacking, and do some good with it. Sorry we had to go through all of this, a shame such good educational posts were lost, but we will pull together and get them back up. Thanks for the new forum SS.

I have to agree. Many years of usable threads have been lost due to someones careless motivations for hacking as a hobby or whatever they derive from what they do. Just about every post by someone needing help on a specific was just a search away. It will take some time but the data base will be rebuilt, questions answered some with more thought than the previous posts.
It is a privilege to be a part of the rebuilding of the forum and making meaningful friendships with members both past, present and future.

Yup! I'm glad it's back! Alot of info has been lost,but will get built up again. Ron (PS.) I kinda like the junior title! At my age I'll take all the young titles I can get! :)

I have not had much time lately to do any shooting - a lot of poor weather has not helped! When I saw the msg yesterday that the forum had been hacked, I was sad, but not very surprised. Back in the day I ran a much different site than I have now, but after several hacks, I finally tossed it and went the blog route.

One thing to think about, and I may post this in a different thread, there are probably several talented forum members that can take a mySQL DB (or whatever the old forum used) and convert the old threads into some sort of archive. Kevin - If you get this and are interested in some pro bono content archive recovery work, give me a shout.

Anyway, good to see the new forum up and running. Welcome to those old and new!
