Boy I'm glad the SS chat forum is back! I've been missing this part of my daily routine and I'm glad we are back to posting.

I hear you on the withdrawal pains. Although I don't post everyday, I do check in several times a day and have more than missed it and you guys, even the Verminator. Did I really just say I missed HIM?????????? Naw, I must be dreaming. :confused:

I hear you on the forum withdraw, I had a pretty bad case here meself... the only bad thing about this new forum is that all the old posts are gone :( I had a couple links to some really good ones, that now no longer exists :( maybe this could be fixed later?

I hear you on that one. A real shame to lose such valuable information that we all use and need in this dynamic hobby of ours.

We don't dare recover those old posts, much as we'd like to. We just don't know if the hackers embedded any strange stuff in any of them and no point in taking a chance of downing the new site too. It'll build up fast enough because a lot of posters kept some posts on their own harddrives and might put some of them back up.

The text of the old posts would be safely copied and pasted via a text program. Probably not feasible, but it can be done safely.

At least this will give us the opportunity to re-hash all the airgun topics that were already discussed and maybe come up with some new ones, which should keep the forum busy as ever.

Hey Knobs,
Looky here, I am back after all. Not sure how to log in, but I guess I did somewhere along the way. Going to take some time to learn how to use all of the things available. Using a new member name (FireMarshal). so that it's the same as on the other forums. Can we make the print larger for my old eyes? Hope all my opld friends are back on soon, but in the meantime, I'll just make some new friends. I've been on the old forum for about 5-6 years now and been in airguns for about the same amount of time. I shoot mostly FT and am on the green forum a lot. At least watching or maybe lurking. I shoot FT at the GOB's (Good Old Boys) in Pulasksi, TN and usually use a USFT Carbine w/ a Nikko 10 X 50 scope.
